2017 Gala Week: GVA Lions

Our Lions played against a rival school and won during Gala Week.

Gala Week

Every year in Liberia, schools around the country organize a Gala Week (similar to homecoming) that involves marching bands, parades, talent shows, sports games and a dance, of course. As the host school, GVA invited a neighboring school to partake in the festivities, which involved a cookout led by the students followed by a dance. This is a much loved tradition that the children cook the food specially for this event.
